Janisse will be in residence at Beloit College in Wisconsin from January 24 to March 8, 2025. While there she'll give the Mackey keynote, do a craft talk, teach a creative writing workshop, and visit classes on campus. The Mackey talk is free and open to the public.
Janisse Ray--award-winning writer, naturalist and environmental activist--is the 2025 Mackey Chair at Beloit College during winter semester 2025. She'll give the Mackey Keynote Reading at 7:30 pm, Thursday, Feb 20 in Moore Lounge, Pearsons Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
