In this journaling mini-course, we focus on Home.

🍂🪵🥧

Home is what holds us. It’s the first place we learn the world and a place we imagine and long for. It is a web of belonging: the body we live inside, the people who made us and the ones we gather, the fires we tend, and the place we find ourselves now, after all our leaving and arriving.

We’ll move through four rooms

  • Body as Dwelling
  • Kin, Human & Wild
  • Hearth & Fire
  • Home Now

We’ll use writing, page design, simple art, and colors to explore our changing relationship to home.

This mini-course is for journalers, memoir writers, writers, nature journalers, and anyone who wants permission to find an hour to work in your own journal in community with like-minded folks.

I’d love to work with you.

SCHOOL WILL BE

  • 4 Sundays in a row during November 2026
  • each Sunday afternoon
  • one hour long
  • 5-6 pm Eastern US/Canada Time, which is 4-5 Central/ 3-4 Mtn/ 2-3 Pacific
  • starting Nov. 8, 2026
  • ending Nov. 29, 2026

Sessions will take place on Nov. 8 | Nov. 15 | Nov. 22 | Nov. 29.

WHY DO THIS WITH ME

  1. Because our most intimate relationship may be with our journal.
  2. Because no one else has to see those pages.
  3. Because there we honor our own self, our own life.
  4. Because we deserve an hour to ourselves.
  5. Because it’s nice to get lost in the flow.
  6. Because creativity feeds creativity, and creativity gives us more options when a decision arises.

🍂🪵🥧
